A.I.R - the Group Therapy Range!

1. Air and FAC Members pay £10.00 per visit and non-members pay £15.00 per visit.
Please note we do not currently accept FAC guest shooters.

2. You will need to provide identity on your first visit, a passport, driving licence or Firearms Certificate is sufficient.
Minors do not need to provide identity.
Bus passes, Fork truck licences etc are not acceptable forms of ID, please contact us if you can't provide identity documents.

3. No, booking in advance isn't required except for hiring guns and tuition.
It does get busy occasionally but you will rarely have to wait for a lane to become available.
FAC members please remember need to shoot in pairs.

4. Yes we have a 10-metre range dedicated to Airsoft, Target Pistols, CO2 Pistols and BB guns.
You will require safety glasses to shoot on this range.
Please note we do hire air and CO2 pistols.

5. Yes, if you are a Firearms Certificate holder for a validly licenced firearm-rated airgun then you can shoot on our 75-Yard range.

6. If you possess a valid Firearms Certificate for a .22 Rimfire then you can become a member and shoot here.
Currently, we don't permit guest shooters.

7. Anyone under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult over the age of 21.
Children can shoot from the age of 8 upwards.
We require anyone shooting at the range to be able to physically handle their gun without assistance, to be able to reach the bench, to be aware of the need for attention to safety and to be able to understand and follow the rules of the range at all times. They must not behave in a manner that could be distracting to other shooters.
There is no upper age limit.

8. Yes you can fill your gun whilst at the range.
You will need to provide your own fill probe although we do have some spares that can be used in an emergency.

9. There is ample free parking outside the mill.

10. No, we don't fill or test dive bottles.

11. A selection of pellets in various calibres is available for purchase at the range.
CO2 cartridges are also available for purchase.
Currently BB's are not available for purchase.
Contact our staff before you visit to check availability if you will need to purchase ammunition during your visit.

12. Bookings for hire rifles are available for a minimum of 2 people shooting.
Bookings are limited to a maximum of 4 people shooting per session.

14. Although we can never predict how quiet or busy the range might be, it is always possible to zero your gun at A.I.R.
If you simply wish to zero before shooting outdoors, not a problem! Feel free to zero your gun and take full advantage of a free air fill before you leave!
We can't guarantee there will be staff available to help you zero your rifle, however, shooters in general are very friendly and helpful and are very often happy to assist other shooters and pass on their knowledge.

15. We are not registered firearms dealers so we can't accept gun deliveries on your behalf.

16. Yes we have a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks available.
There are various food outlets in the locale and you are welcome to bring food into the range and sit in our dining area.

17. We try our best to make sure the range is as accessible as possible, but we are on the first floor and the mill does not currently have a lift.
If you are unsure or have any concerns about access, we recommend visiting the mill to assess accessibility, as everyone has different requirements.

18. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate spectators
This means that you must either be shooting yourself (and signed in to shoot) or be the supervising adult of a child who is shooting to enter and remain on the range.

Please be aware that children who are not shooting are not able to remain on the range.
If you want to view the facilities, why not bring your own pistol or rifle and shoot as a guest, or book a hire gun!
The best way to view our facilities is to experience using them!
